Brightom accomodation is full with every boarding house, self catering holiday home and hotel booked weeks in advance. This is the only guide devoted solely to the event so you can be sure it will have everything you need to know about the summer festival week, main event at Preston Park and the Carnival Parade.Pride in Brighton & Hove was delighted to announce the theme for this year’s celebrations in Autumn 2008. Loads of suggestions for a theme were made by Pride members and the public the Board of Trustees and Staff eventually decided for the central theme ‘Pride Beside The Seaside’ which was suggested by Saskia Jackson from Brighton.Pride in Brighton & Hove advances education to eliminate discrimination and promote equality and diversity against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) community. It raises awareness of these issues by facilitating and promoting a number of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival. It also uses its own success to promote and financially support other voluntary and charitable organisations..
